hirtshalslarvik.com covers one connection: the ferry between Hirtshals at the northern tip of Jutland and Larvik in Vestfold on the south coast of eastern Norway. Color Line sails it all year round with the fast ferry SuperSpeed 2.

On a route with a single ferry company, the main decision is the departure: the midday sailing or the late crossing, and with it the time you arrive. We show the departures in both directions in one timetable, explain Color Line's packages and supplements and describe both terminals in Hirtshals and Larvik, including the approach, parking and the walk to the station.

What this site is not

hirtshalslarvik.com is an independent guide and not the official website of Color Line. We are not a Norway travel guide and not a hotel portal: sights, accommodation ashore, flights and hire cars are deliberately left out, and the other ferry routes from Hirtshals to Norway are not covered as products. We concentrate on the crossing itself and on what matters for it: the choice of departure, travelling with a car, motorhome, bicycle or dog, and the procedure at both ports. We do not sell the tickets ourselves: bookings go through our partner Direct Ferries (directferries.co.uk), where the current prices, availability and conditions apply.

We only state prices on the prices page; crossing times, deadlines and terminal addresses come from the ferry company and the port operators and are checked regularly.
